SCOPE

These Terms of Sale apply to all purchases made on this website. By placing an order, you accept these terms in full.

PRODUCTS AND PRICES

All jewelry is handmade or made to order, as described on each product page. Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and include applicable VAT where relevant. Prices do not include shipping costs, which are calculated and shown separately at checkout. Karo Lina Pieces reserves the right to change prices at any time, but orders already placed will be honored at the price confirmed at the time of purchase.

ORDER PROCESS

An order is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and you receive an order confirmation email. Karo Lina Pieces reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example in the case of a pricing error, stock issue, or suspected fraud, in which case you will be notified and fully refunded.

PAYMENT

Payment is due in full at the time of ordering, via the payment methods offered at checkout. All transactions are processed securely through Shopify Payments.

DELIVERY

See our Shipping Policy for processing and delivery timelines. Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS

See our Refund Policy for full details, including the 14-day EU right of withdrawal for ready-made items and the exclusion of custom and made-to-order pieces (including engagement rings) under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.

LEGAL GUARANTEE

All items benefit from the statutory legal guarantee of conformity (garantie légale de conformité) and the guarantee against hidden defects (garantie des vices cachés) under French law, regardless of whether the item was custom-made or ready-made.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

In the event of a dispute, you may contact us directly at karo@karopieces.is to seek an amicable resolution. If no resolution is reached, and you are an EU consumer, you are entitled to refer the dispute to a consumer mediator or to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence if you are an EU consumer.
